The Girl who was teased
There once was a girl named Nova, who had a Pagan family. During summer break she learned how to talk to nature. She could talk to all the plants and all the animals and made many friends.
Soon School was starting and she could not wait to see all her friends again.
The First day of school was finally here. The day began as any other day. She got up and got ready for school. She was very excited to talk about her summer to all her friends. When she got to school all her friends were so happy to see her. During recess she seen a butterfly. She said "Hello Mr. Butterfly how are you" The Butterfly said "I am Great , thanks for asking" Little did she know her friends had seen her talking to the butterfly and they burst out laughing at her and pointing fingers. She felt bad. She did not understand why they were laughing. She thought it was normal to talk to nature. So she asked "What is so funny?"
The kids laughing say "Butterflies cant talk! Hahaha" She says "they can so. You just have to know how to listen….its Magick" The kids say "Magick?! Hahaha there is no such thing as Magick!" and they walked away laughing.
She was very hurt. She didn’t like how they were making fun. And how could they think magick is not real?
She didn’t know she was different, she never had a reason to think what happened in her family was any different from any others.
She thinks…I’ll prove there is magick!
Nova casts a spell to make the kids be able to hear the animals talking. But she did not realize it was wrong to cast spells on people like that. She had heard her mom worn her about the "Law of 3" but she was not hurting any one. She was helping them see that magick was real. How could that be wrong?
She said her little spell and POOF she was a Rabbit!
She cries "WHAT Happened??? I'm a rabbit Oh NO how did this happen??!?!!"
Scared and not knowing what to do she Hops to the bushes were she can hide, try to figure out what happened, and what she is going to do. She tries and tries to change back. After a long time she sits there and cries. "What am I going to do?? I cant stay a rabbit!" A blue bird hears her cries and flies down to see what’s the matter.
Nova tells the blue bird all of the things that happened. The blue bird says "Ah I see the spell you did came back on you" Nova says "I don't understand what did I do wrong?" The blue bird says "Its the law of 3, what you send out comes back to you times 3. You wanted them to hear the animals but instead you Turned into an animal. It was wrong of you to do magick on other people like that so the spell came back times 3."
Nova says "but I was not hurting them I just wanted them to understand"
The blue bird says " Still that was not the way. Magick is not a toy. You don't cast spells on other people when you could have just took the time to tell them how you felt about them teasing you, and then explained it to them. Magick is not meant to be the easy way out.” Nova says: "I understand. But how do I turn back?"
The blue bird tells her she must undo the spell she did and every thing would be back to normal again.
She Nods and says thank you. Then un-casts the spell and POOF she is a little Girl again.
The next day the kids tease her again and instead of getting upset Nova Smiles and asks "would you like to learn how to talk to the animals like me??" The Kids get quiet and then one of them says "you can teach us?" She nods, then asks them to all sit next to her. One by one Nova teaches them how to talk to her Nature friends.
So remember next time you want to do magick it is not a toy. Think what would happen if it came back on me times 3. If you don't want it to come back on you that is a good clue that you better not do it at all!
